Unnamed Florida State Players Perpetuate the Dumb Jock Stereotype
Bobby Bowden probably punched a few walls today.
ESPN and other sources are announcing today that as many as 20 Florida State students were involved in a cheating scandal. According to FSU, players got answers directly from a football team tutor so that they were able to breeze through a few classes.
All of the others involved will be suspende and will not play in the Music City bowl in in the first three games of 2008.
The school won’t announce the names of the players involved, but some have specualted that more than a few starters have been involved.
Thanks, assholes, for perpetuating the stereotype that all jocks are dumb. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - I love college football, but your are in college to GET AN EDUCATION. When football comes first, you’ve got your priorities messed up.
