Top Prospect: Terrelle Pryor
Last year, everyone was abuzz with gossip about Jimmy Clausen (and who can forget that press conference…that chia-pet hair…). This year’s gold boy is Terrelle Pryor, and I have to admit - being from Pennsylvania myself, I have a bit of a soft spot for PA players. So, I decided to read up a little about this dynamic player.
Pryor is from Jeannette, PA, and is listed as a “duel threat” quarterback (making him a perfect match for schools that thrive on giving their QB the ball often). On his short-list of schools are:
- Florida
- LSU
- Michigan
- Ohio State
- Oregon
- Penn State
- Pittsburgh
Of these schools, I think that it is most likely that he’ll be going to Florida, Michigan, or Oregon (where he recently visited). He plans to announce live in ESPN on February 6.
He’s played in the starting QB position since being a sophomore at Jeannette Senior High School, and he is also an all-star basketball player.
And beyond that…he seems like a really nice guy with big goals for himself and his future team. He has a website where he talks about his recruiting experiences in a personal journal…and I love that. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a guy who blogs. Read it here!
