South Florida sucks…but doesn’t swallow
I think Coach Jim Leavitt was sweating for a bit there. Today’s South Florida game against Florida Atlantic was a close one, and there for awhile it looked like FAU might host an upset to rival Michigan’s opening game loss. That’s right…in case you didn’t watch the game…FLORIDA ATLANTIC ALMOST WON.
Of course, South Florida didn’t stand for it, and pull the game out of the sewer during the fourth quarter. Let’s compare the stats a bit. Passing, SFLA had 122 yards to FAU’s 259. Rushing, however, SFLA dominated with 302 yards to FAU’s 152. That means in total yards South Florida had 424 to Florida Atlantic’s 411. That’s pretty effing close.
But a game isn’t won on yards alone. Florida Atlantic had more penalties and lost many more yards, helping to contribute to their overall loss. Let’s not forget also that they don’t even had a stadium on their campus - they play about 15 miles away. South Florida, on the other hand, turned over the ball four times. Really, it is a wonder they eeked out the win in the end.
Final Game Score: South Florida 35, Florida Atlantic 23
Final Dignity Score: Florida Atlantic 100, South Florida 0

Don’t worry, Sean. I’m an equal opportunity hater…and since the USC upset, no one even remembers this game, so nbd!

I would think it would make sense that a Football team would reflect its politicians .
Thus ofcourse Miami team would suck are they as inept as do nothing as Miamis politicians. I dont think so otherwise they wouldnt ever make it on the field
