San Diego State’s Game is Postponed
I can’t remember the last time a major college football game was canceled or postponed. However, this weekend, you won’t be seeing the San Diego State - BYU game. The conference has decided to play the game instead on December 1. Many homes of the coaches and players, as well as college administration, are in danger and the air quality is so bad from the smoke and ash that no one can be outside for very long. Safety comes first. Two people have already been confirmed dead and over 300,000 evacuated from their homes. The stadium had become a refugee camp for people who have lost their homes, and the players have been helping to pass out blankets and food to those finding help there. Everyone’s distracted and in harm’s way. There’s no reason to put more people at risk for football. Thank god everyone realized that.
USC and UCLA both have away games and have said that they will play. The air quality there is still not good, but the teams have been able to practice. They’ll be glad to leave for better playing conditions, I bet.
Prayers from everyone here at BCS Frenzy for safety to those in that area affected by the fires.

Thanks, Allison. It is a bit nuts out here, to say the least. We are safe right now, but many others are having a difficult time. Please keep thinking good thoughts for everyone!
