Inside the 2008 NFL Draft: Carolina Panthers

by Allison on May 14th, 2008

Now that we’ve had a bit of time to think about the draft picks, let’s go through them one by one. How did your favorite team do? Here’s my take on Carolina Panthers.

Draft Picks:

Jonathan Stewart, RB, Oregon (Rd. 1, Pick 13)
Jeff Otah, OT, Pittsburgh (Rd. 1, Pick 19)
Charles Godfrey, CB, Iowa (Rd. 3)
Dan Connor, ILB, Penn State (Rd. 3)
Gary Barnidge, TE, Louisville (Rd. 5)
Nick Hayden, DL, Wisconsin (Rd. 6)
Hilee Taylor, DE, North Carolina (Rd. 7)
Geoff Schwartz, OT, Oregon (Rd. 7)
Mackenzy Bernadeau, OG (Rd. 7)

Best Value:

29 December 2007: Penn State Senior Linebacker Dan Connor (40) in the 2007 Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. Penn State defeated Texas A&M 24 - 17<br />

Dan Connor

Come on, I’m a Penn State girly - I have to go with Dan Connor. He’s a great value for round three and I think he’ll do really well at the next level.
