Heisman Voting Breakdown

by Allison on December 8th, 2007

Here’s a look at how the votes broke down for the top four contenders, who were invited to New York this evening for the Heisman ceremony:

First Place Votes:
1. Tim Tebow, 462
2. Darren McFadden, 291
3. Colt Brennan, 54
4. Chase Daniel, 25

Others receiving first place votes: Dennis Dixon, Pat White, Matt Ryan, Kevin Smith, Glenn Dorsey, Chris Long

Total Points:
1. Tim Tebow: 1,957
2. Darren McFadden: 1,703
3. Colt Brennan: 632
4. Chase Daniel: 425

Perhaps significant is the fact that McFadden received the most second place votes and Brennan received the most third place votes. So, the points totals ended how they should have.

Do you think that the votes got it right?
