Conference Standings - Who’s Heading to the Bowls?
It may still be too early to tell, because anything is possible in a season like this. That said, here is who I think will be heading to the Bowls, based on this weekend’s play:
National Championship Game: LSU and Kansas
Rose Bowl: Ohio State and Arizona State (or USC, depending…)
Sugar Bowl: ? and ?
Fiesta Bowl: ? and ?
Orange Bowl: Boston College and ?
The five slots not covered? I think they’ll go to: Missouri, Connecticut, West Virginia, Georgia, and Virginia Tech
I’m not really a number-crunch, and again, it is too early to tell definitively (other than a few spots, like Ohio State’s in the Rose Bowl, which is locked up). Who will be the National Champion? My prediction is LSU.

Georgia beats LSU in SEC Champ Game. Mizz takes Kansas down then gets beat in Big 12 Champ Game. WVU upset by #24 Conn.
ARIZ beaten by USC Thanksgiving Day.
Ohio State plays in National Title Game.
