Answer: The “Kansas State” rule.

Question of the Day: Which of the major bowl games is the oldest? Bonus points if you can tell me what year it was first played!
Answer: The Rose Bowl is the oldest, with the first game being held in 1902.

Question of the Day: Who scored the most points ever in a major bowl game? Hint: It was at the Alamo Bowl!
Answer: In 2000, Nebraska scored 66 points against Northwestern in the Alamo Bowl. Too bad the Nebraska boys can’t channel that team this year…

Question of the Day: Which Big Ten team was the first to win two consecutive Rose Bowls?
Answer: Daniel, who left a comment, was indeed correct with “Wisconsin.” They won during the 1998 and 1999 seasons. Technically, the games took place Jan. 1, 1999 and Jan. 1, 2000.

Answer: Notre Dame, of course! They may suck this year, but historically, the Fighting Irish have produced more great football players than most other BCS schools.
