And the 2007 Heisman Candidates Are…
No surprises here. Check out who was voted to New York:
- Tim Tebow
- Darren McFadden
- Colt Brennan
- Chase Daniel
Are these the right choices? Overall, I think yes. I’m sad that Dennis Dixon won’t have a chance at the award, as he’s one of the players who most deserved it, but at the same time, that’s life. There were a lot of good players who lost their chances due to injury (just ask Michael Hart). There were even a lot of good players who were passed up because their teams didn’t get enough press time.
Everyone’s focused on Tebow right now. Will he win it? Most likely. Does he most deserve it? That’s questionable. My vote would go to Brennan, with McFadden being a close second.

Aloha,
I am a big supporter of UH Warriors Football. I have been attending all of their home games since I was 7. Seven years later, this is the most I have ever been impressed. Colt is my role model, my hero. Colt is an all around great guy and I think he deserves to win the Heisman. Hawaii, a non ranked team in the beggining, now entering BCS game with a record of 12 and 0. Not many can say that. Hawaii had a lot of impressing to do and they did it. Brennan carried the warriors along with Bess and Mullen. And we can’t forget Graunke for that Nevada game and our kicker Dan Kelly. BRENNAN FOR HEISMAN! Or as we say here BRENNAN FOR PRESIDENT.
