8 Returning Juniors
College football sites and news source are so focused on the 2008 NFL draft that we forget the players who aren’t the draft, by choice. As talented as this year’s draft class is, there are also a ton of talented players who opted to return for their senior year. Its always a gamble when you have a good junior season - any one of these players could get hurt early on or have an unlucky year. However, if they do great things, they could be picked top ten in 2009. Here is my list of 8 returning juniors (now seniors) that we should be watching:
- Curtis Painter, Purdue
- Pat White, West Virginia
- Aaron Kelly, Clemson
- Chase Daniel, Missouri
- Michael Oher, Mississippi
- James Laurinaitis, Ohio State
- Demetrius Byrd, LSU
- Max Unger, Oregon
Honorable Mentions - Possible Early Entries to Watch: Chris Wells (Ohio State), Mathew Stafford (Georgia), Tim Tebow (Florida)
